SimpleFighter V6.9 release notes.


Hello everyone. I just released another big bug fix and feature update to simple fighter. Please check it out!

Before I continue, I once again updated a bunch of sounds in the game. Please redownload the full game if you’d like to see the newe content I modified.

With that out of the way, here’s what’s new in version 6.9.

Updated the readme file with modified keyboard shortcuts.

Added the ability to type multiple slash commands at once. You can separate each command with a semicolon, folowed by a space. This feature is purely experemental, and may not work in all cases.

Added critical hit support to every entity that hurts the player. The characters in the sounds folder have also been updated as well.

Made it so the miscellaneous sounds found in the misc.dat file for the game is no longer encrypted from now on. These sounds can now be located in sounds/default/misc.

Added combat log entries for when entities hit your shield.

Improved attack and defense scaling for all of the entities that use them.

Made it so falling on a map can no longer hurt you for less than 1 damage when your character’s defense is grater than your fall stats.

Made it so bombs, force fields, mines, spikes, and time bombs can no longer hit you for less than 1 damage when your character’s defense is grater than their attack stats.

Converted blockages, elevator floors, menu zones, spawn points, text squares, timed texts, travelpoints, and zones to use the new audio forms class for valadating builder inputs moving forward.

Fixed a bunch of bugs with the find item feature for menus. It’s now re-coded to use the new audio forms class.
